Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and accurately recorded
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests in a professional and timely manner
- Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is a plus
