Position: Journeyman Electrician - Electrical Assembly Department Are you a seasoned Journeyman Electrician with a passion for industrial applications and/or have HVAC or refrigeration experience? Whaley Products, Inc.
is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Electrical Department.
\*\*Key Responsibilities:\*\* - Assemble and wiring of electrical disconnects, control panels, and general electrical wiring and design for a range of industrial cooling and heating equipment.
-Install, wire, and test Whaley’s microprocessor (PLC) controllers which control primarily process chiller, cooling tower, and pump tank systems.
- Work alongside other electrical department employees amd ensure top-notch performance and continuous improvement.
- Utilize your expertise in electric code to ensure compliance and safety in all electrical applications and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (refrigeration, plumbing, welding, quality control) to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of our products.
- Provide technical support to customers in the field, assisting with system troubleshooting.
- Oversee electrical component purchasing for custom projects.
\*\*Requirements:\*\* - Journeyman Electrician certification with extensive experience in wide range of electrical applications.
- In-depth knowledge of electric codes and regulations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self driven - Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment and work well with others.
\*\*Additional Skills (Preferred):\*\* - Experience with industrial cooling and heating equipment.
- Tech support experience for field-related customer communication.
- Experience in industrial applications, microprocessors, and PLCs a plus, but not required.
- Experience with industrial chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning or heating systems also a plus, but not required.
